Texas in-state tuition policy

Texas, a state of U.S, has a law that accepting lower tuition fee from the state university students who lived more than three years in Texas before they enter to university. I am total supporter of this law. This law might look discriminating other students from other states. However, students from other states should not think that they are discriminated because amount that they are paying to the Texas university is about the same amount as what they should have paid to the university in their own states. What I want to say is that the standard tuition of Texas university is same as the tuition of university of other states. However, Texas government is spending more money to give more chance of learning to the students of their own state. Therefore, the situation is the students of Texas are taking advantage, not students of other states are taking damage. It might seems that Texas is the selfish state. However, no one can blame Texas, because Texas has no reason to take care of students from other states and has not enough money to take care of them. Students from other states did not do nothing for the Texas. They did not pay tax for Texas, and they did not do what Texans should do for Texas government. If they want lower tuition, they should blame their own states that are not spending enough money for the students.

Unemployment of Texas

On Monday, July 23, 2012, Lone Star Strong Published an editorial about unemployment of Texas. Texas's unemployment is in stable stage even though the state did its effort to increase the job opportunities by adding more jobs. The authors is having a good feeling and encouraging the government to efforts to solve the problem of unemployment and emphasize the low unemployment rate of Texas contrast to the U.S average unemployment rate. On this editorial I have no idea to find out the credibility of the author. However, I also agree with the author's intention to encourage the state government's effort to solve unemployment. Recently, the world is having serious problem of unemployment. Unemployment of the world raising exponentially and many people bankrupt because they cannot find jobs to maintain them and their families' lives. However, Texas government's effort to solve this unemployment problem results in the stable status of Texas unemployment rate. It would be very encouraging fact when most of the other part of the world's unemployment rate is increasing in amazing amount. I can feel that the state government is trying to solve citizens' poverty and work hard for satisfaction of citizens. Due to the effort of the state government, I feel reliable toward the state government.

Texas's water problem

On Tuesday, July 17, 2012, The Dallas Morning News Published an editorial about the water problem that attacked Texas. Recently, Texas encountered with the serious drought. Farmers are also encountered with the problem too. Their crops cannot grow because of the lack of the water. Texas government carried on some kinds of campaigns about the water. They declared that farmers are eligible for low-interest loans and carried on the some improving plans for new water supplies. The author is talking to government to not stop effort to solve water lack problem. The author is talking that Texas is not out of the problem yet. I think the author has enough knowledge to discuss the problem. He or she understands that the state government should know about the problem of the citizens and the government should think about it. And he or she also knows that he or she can express the problem that he or she feels to government by writing an editorial. I also agree with the what author is saying. I think Texas's water problem is in serious stage. When I walk the street I can often see cracks in the ground and some very streams that are dried cause of drought. I also can recognize the water problem of Texas and agree with the author's opinion that the state government should keep doing its best to solve this problem.

Dallas murderer to be first to receive Texas' single-drug execution

On Tuesday, July 17, 2012, The Dallas Morning News Published an article about a prisoner to be first to receive Texas' single-drug execution. He would be executed because he shot a 23 years old suburban Dallas stockbroker.
I think this article is worth reading because it is related with the image of the Texas government. There are many different laws about execution in U.S. depend on States.There are also difference in opinion about execution depend on people. However, I think writing an article about the method of execution might not seem good for image of Texas government, even though there are many difference between opinion about execution.
