Single-Sex schools in Texas

Carrie Sanders's "Single-Sex Schools?" is talking about very interesting policy that is about to start in the state of Texas. Texas is about to make many private schools that only one sex of students can enter. And Carrie Sanders who wrote this article has very negative feeling about this policy. I am also skeptical about this new policy. I cannot understand the intention of this policy. This unisex school policy's goal is to prevent pregnancy of teenagers which is increasing in amazing rate right now. However, I think that this policy is not only cannot be a solution of pregnancy problems, but also has more loses than gains.
In my country, South Korea, there are many unisex schools. The crime rate and pregnancy rate of those schools are greater than the schools with both sex of students. The students who are pressed down so much tend to commit more crimes when outside of the school.
Also, the students of bi-sex schools tend to have more experience than students of unisex schools. They can experience and see what the opposite sex students are thinking and living. They can learn many things with those experiences. I cannot find any gains from the unisex schools. I totally cannot agree with this policy of Texas either.
