Necessity of Texas Voter ID Law

I have read Jess Steflik's opinion about the Texas Voter ID Law. He is very negative about Texas Voter ID Law. However, my opinion is different. I also agree with the part which is saying that even though Texas government is emphasizing importance of vote and promoting the vote, Texas government's Voter ID Law can deplete the turnouts who are participating to vote. It is a paradox. Taking ID and documents that can prove oneself is very inconvenient. Many people think that going to vote is not worth of it. They think that even though they do not go, there are still many other citizens who want to go to vote to exercise their own right.
However, in spite of this paradox, I think that Texas Voter ID Law should be existed. Voting is the thing that makes citizen a citizen. Therefore, voting should be a something that only citizens of that country can participate. If there is no such thing as a Texas Voter ID Law, and people cannot know the person who is voting is whether citizen of U.S. or not, that might cause serious problem. If other countries use this situation and control immigrants to vote for the president who will govern U.S. with the policies that are favor to other countries, U.S citizens will take a lot of damage from that.
Therefore, not just for U.S government, U.S citizens should have knowledge about importance of vote and should realize that the vote is the strongest power that citizens can exercise to the country. And finally citizens should participate in vote voluntarily, even though taking ID is annoying to them.
